A method for reconfiguring a Zigbee network is provided to enable a coordinator to reconfigure the Zigbee network via a direct joining procedure in case that the coordinator is reset after the Zigbee is configured. A method for reconfiguring a Zigbee network comprises the following several steps. A coordinator starts a Zigbee network configuring procedure(S310). End devices perform a Zigbee joining procedure(S320). The coordinator stores information on the joined end devices(S330). If the coordinator is reset because of a stoppage of power supply, the coordinator performs a rebooting procedure and checks the information on the end devices stored at the memory(S340,S350). The coordinator checks MAC(Media Access Control) addresses of the end devices and reconfigures the Zigbee network by attempting to make connection to the end devices(S360).
