A data processing device and a data processing system including the same are provided to search data stored in a server and upload the data to the server, and enable a user to check update easily by displaying input of new data automatically when the new data is inputted to the server. A data processing device(20) includes a communicator(21) communicating with a server(10) storing data, a display unit(26), a UI(User Interface) generator(27), an electronic picture frame, and a controller(28). The controller enables the display unit to display that the data stored in the server is updated when an update signal is received from the server through the communicator. The controller enables the UI generator to display a message representing that the data stored in the server is updated when the update signal is received from the controller. A connection unit(23) is for the connection with a user input unit(30) to receive the operations from a user.
