DEMAND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MULTI-AIR CONDITIONER

A demand control system for a multi-air conditioner is provided to control the power consumption of the whole building effectively by installing a center control unit for controlling the operation rate of air conditioners. A demand control system for a multi-air conditioner comprises plural air conditioners(10) installed at each area of a building, a sub system, wattmeters(20) including an individual wattmeter connected to the air conditioners and a whole wattmeter, and a center control unit(30). The sub system includes at least any one of a lamp device or an electromotive device placed inside the building. The whole wattmeter joined to the sub system and the air conditioner measures the whole power consumption of the building. The center control unit calculates the predictive power consumption of the air conditioner from the power consumption measured from the individual wattmeter, and sequentially controls the operation rate of the plural air conditioners to reduce the power consumption according to the volume of the predictive power consumption in the air conditioner.
