摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device enabling accurate derivation of the oxidizing velocity of the PM collected in a filter even when an exhaust gas throttle valve is installed in the exhaust passage of the device. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine 10 comprises a DPF 24 installed in an exhaust gas passage 14 for collecting PM, an exhaust gas throttle valve 18 installed in the exhaust gas passage 14 on the downstream side of the DPF 24, and a pressure sensor 33 installed in the exhaust gas passage 14 on the upstream side of the DPF 24 for detecting exhaust gas pressures. The exhaust emission control device further comprises an electronic control device 40 having a function as an oxidizing velocity deriving means for deriving the oxidizing velocity of the PM collected in the DPF 24 according to the exhaust gas pressures detected by the pressure sensor 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
