PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently preparing propylene oxide from propylene, oxygen and hydrogen in the presence of a noble metal catalyst and a titanosilicate catalyst. SOLUTION: The method for preparing propylene oxide is characterized by comprising a step of causing propylene, oxygen and hydrogen with each other in the presence of a noble metal catalyst and a titanosilicate catalyst in the liquid phase wherein an aminoquinone compound is added.
