A mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication method are provided to improve communication quality by securing the accuracy in measuring path timing or the level of a received radio signal, regardless of moving speed. A mobile communication terminal(100) comprises a moving state acquisition part(120) and a signal processing part(130). The moving state acquisition part acquires the moving state of the mobile communication terminal. The signal processing part comprises a path search part. Based on the acquired moving state, the path search part determines measurement conditions, including the number of previously known signals or an interval to measure a radio signal. Based on the determined measurement conditions, the signal processing part performs signal processing for the radio signal. |
