<p>An ultrasound system is provided to improve accuracy and reduce a work time by controlling TGC(Time Gain Compensation) and LGC(Lateral Gain Compensation) through input of TGC and LGC on a touch panel and improve space efficiency by reducing a size of a control panel. An ultrasound system(100) includes a signal obtaining unit, a signal process unit(130), an image forming unit, and a TGC/LGC setting unit(160). The signal obtaining unit obtains a received signal by transmitting an ultrasound signal to an object and receiving the ultrasound signal reflected from the object. The signal process unit controls TGC and LGC of the received signal based on previously set TGC value and LGC value. The image forming unit forms an ultrasound image of the object based on the received signal with the controlled TGC and LGC. The TGC/LGC setting unit displays a set screen for setting the TGC and the LGC based on the ultrasound image and sets the TGC value and the LGC value based on TGC and LGC curves inputted by a user.</p> |
