#CMT# #/CMT# Lumber comprises compressed granulates comprising tree granulates (25-42 wt.%), and tree bark granulates (58-75 wt.%), where the trees belong to hardwood family. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a preparation of the lumber comprising compressed granulates, comprising mixing tree wood granulates (20-40 vol.%) and tree bark granulates (60-80 vol.%), and compressing the obtained granulates mixture. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The lumber is useful as a fuel, preferably in fireplace, stove or boiler individual. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The lumber has greater burning time, good calorific value and good combustion properties. #CMT#AGRICULTURE : #/CMT# Preferred Process: The process comprises: drying the obtained granulates, before the compressing step, where the obtained granulates comprises 8-12 wt.% of water, in anhydrous state, after the drying step; sifting the obtained granulates before compressing step; and compressing the obtained granulates once to form the lumber. The compressing step is carried out at a pressure of 24-26 MPa. Preferred Composition: The lumber comprises 10-15 wt.% of granulates having a size of smaller than 0.63 mm, preferably greater than 6.3 mm. The lumber has a density of 1. Preferred Components: The tree wood granulates are granulates of oak and/or beech. The tree bark granulates are oak bark. The size of granulates is smaller than 10 mm, and in which at least 70 wt.% of the granulates have a size of 0.63-6.3 mm. The granulates comprise 8-12 wt.% of water, in anhydrous state. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# No suitable example given. |
