A plasma display panel is provided to convert a discharge cell into a dark point by irradiating a laser beam onto a display electrode positioned on the discharge cell which causes abnormal discharge to occur. A front substrate(15) and a rear substrate(10) are opposite to each other at a desired interval. Address electrodes(11) are extended in a first direction on the rear substrate, and barrier ribs(13) are interposed between the front substrate and the rear substrate to define plural discharge cells(19) therebetween. Display electrodes(16) are extended on the front substrate in a second direction crossing the first direction. At least a portion of the display electrode is irradiated by a laser to convert at least one discharge cell into a dark point.
