The base frame (C) has base shanks glued with spacers and closing a cavity. An underframe (B) and a slatted base (A) are connected to the base frame. The frames and the base are provided with pivotable and adjustable locking devices for performing functions and adjustments of a treatment bed. The locking devices are formed of cleat strips. The locking devices are secured with locking bars, where the bed is made of steel or wood. Sharp edges of the base frame are rounded. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a slatted base for a treatment bed (2) a underframe for a treatment system.
