<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly perform a defrosting operation in a dehumidifier combined with a heat pump and a desiccant rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A dehumidifier is provided with a vapor-compression-type heat pump 105 connected with a compressor 101 compressing a refrigerant, a radiator 102 causing the refrigerant to radiate heat to supplied air, an expansion mechanism 103 reducing pressure by expanding the refrigerant and a heat absorber 104 causing the refrigerant to absorb heat from the supplied air, and the desiccant rotor 108 rotating by a driving means 2 and dehumidifying from the supplied air in a dehumidifying region 106, and discharging moisture by heating in a moisture discharging region 107; and in the dehumidifying operation, air in a room is supplied to the radiator 102, the moisture discharging region 107, the heat absorber 104 and the moisture absorbing region 106 in this order. Then, the dehumidifier is provided with a frosting estimating means 27 estimating a frosted state of the heat absorber 104 and when the frosting detecting means 27 estimates the frost of the heat absorber 104, the dehumidifying operation is performed while an amount of the heat absorber 104 frosted being suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
