PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically insulate a battery and a vehicle body at the time of a rear collision by a simple constitution when the battery is housed in a rear part of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: A storage recess 6 is formed between a pair of right and left rear side frames 10 of a floor panel 1, and a battery 70 is fixed to the bottom face 6a of the storage recess 6. A connection terminal 84 connected with an electrode 70b of the battery 70 comprises a stationary terminal 84A fixed to the electrode 70b, and a detaching terminal 84B connected with a harness 86 and detached from the stationary terminal 84A when a strong tensile force in a forward and backward direction is received. A bracket 95 (105) fixed to the vehicle body on the front wall 6c side of the storage recess 5 on its front end is arranged to extend backward to the battery 70. A portion near the detaching terminal 84 out of the detaching terminal 84 or the harness 86 is locked not to move forward by the bracket 95 (105). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
