<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production management system and a production management method capable of achieving a desired value of production volume while complying with a limit on production time. <P>SOLUTION: Precondition input information 1 about the specifications and the operating conditions of a production line is input via a precondition input means 2 and stored in a database 3 as preconditions 3a.
