PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a line inkjet printer capable of finely moving a line inkjet head by using a piezoelectric element with good accuracy and with a necessary amount so as to perform highly precise, high speed printing. SOLUTION: In the line inkjet printer 1, both end parts of a line inkjet head unit 5 finely moved in the printing line direction by a piezoelectric actuator 8 are fitted to right and left vertical side frames 2 and 3 by elastic plates 6 and 7 under a condition with no backlash or no play. The line inkjet head unit 5 can be finely moved with good accuracy by 1/2 of an arrangement pitch of the ink nozzles in the printing line direction. By performing two times delivering of ink droplets from the same ink nozzle, the line inkjet printer can print highly precisely with a double resolution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
