PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing device equipped with a function of continuously reproducing a plurality of programs, and a play list formation method for the information recording/reproducing device, wherein a list information to be used for the continuous reproduction is easily generated. SOLUTION: A DVD recorder 10 is equipped with: a recording means for recording recording data on a recording medium; a reading means for reading the recording data recorded on the recording medium; and a picture reproducing means for reproducing the picture by using the recording data read by the reading means. The DVD recorder 10 also includes: a play list generation means for generating the play list for periodic recording as a list of the picture to be reproduced by the picture reproducing means when the periodic video recording is performed; and a program registration means for registering program data corresponding to the recording data of the periodic recording program to be periodically recorded.
