PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license plate lighting structure capable of also lighting an area at a front side of a rear part of a vehicle not depending on a shape of the rear part of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The license plate 15 attached to a rear surface of a rear outer panel 14 of the rear part 11a of a vehicle body is illuminated using a finisher member 17 provided at a position above the license plate 15 and a license lamp 6 attached between the rear outer panel 14 and it. Further, when an area behind the vehicle 11 can be illuminated by the illumination light of the license lamp 6, a reflection surface part 18 downward bending the illumination light of the license lamp 6 is provided on a vehicle rear position than a license lamp attachment position of the finisher member 17 such that it reaches to an area C at a front side near the rear part 11a of the vehicle body of the vehicle 11.
