<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the state of an image forming apparatus on an operation screen (a picture for operating a computer) through an image forming apparatus operation system without displaying any special picture such as a power management picture, and to easily reset a power-saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The computer 10 includes a display control unit 103a which makes a display unit 101 always display state information representing the state of a multifunctional machine 1, a resetting operation means for resetting the power-saving mode while the state information showing that the multifunctional machine 1 is in the power saving mode is displayed by the display unit 101, and a power-saving mode resetting indicating unit 103b which can transmit a reset instruction for resetting the power-saving mode of the multifunctional machine 1 to the multifunctional machine 1 when a resetting operation is performed through the resetting operation means.
