<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute exposure control while linking right and left cameras, irrespective of the distance to a subject in a stereoscopic imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has a first imaging means and a second imaging means for imaging a subject; a camera signal processing means for applying camera signal processing to signals to be outputted from the first and second imaging means, and generating video signals; a stereoscopic image processing means for executing the stereoscopic image processing using a stereoscopically picked-up image to be outputted from the camera signal processing means; a linkage exposure calculating means for executing calculation processing for performing exposure control using the information of stereophonic matching processing to be executed in the stereoscopic image processing means; and a stereoscopic imaging control unit for controlling the first and second imaging means and the camera signal processing means, using a result of processing of the linkage exposure calculating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
