A method for treating livestock manure using a water clarifying agent and vermiculite is provided to minimize environmental pollution causable by livestock manure and produce purified water from the supernatant and a high quality of organic fertilizer from bottom sludge. A method for treating livestock manure includes the steps of: (1) mixing livestock manure with a diluting water in a weight ratio of 5±1:5±1, thereto adding 0.5-5wt%, based on the livestock manure, of a microorganism formulation, and carrying out fermentation and aging at 24-30 °C for 10-15 days; (2) preparing an aeration solution containing 0.5-2wt%, based on the livestock manure, of a powdered water clarifying agent, wherein the powdered water clarifying agent is obtained by mixing 55-65wt% of loess powder, 15-25wt% of calcium oxide, 3-7wt% of magnesium oxide, 3-7wt% of alumina, 3-7wt% of iron oxide, and 3-7wt% of soil microorganisms and performing aging at 24-25 °C for 10-12 days; (3) charging the fermented or aged material of the step (1) into an aeration bath containing the aeration solution of the step (2), and then performing aeration for 2-3 hours; and (4) transferring bottom sludge to an organic fertilization reactor whereas performing the water analysis of the supernatant obtained after the aeration and discharging the supernatant, wherein the organic fertilization reactor having vermiculite stacked on the bottom is provided with the sludge, leaves the sludge alone for 1-2 hours, and stirs the resultant to produce an organic fertilizer. |
