摘要 A continuous casting guide roll using centrifugal casting method and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, wherein the continuous casting guide roll satisfies sufficient hardening capability and mechanical properties even at a high temperature and has excellent wear resistance by developing an alloy capable of controlling microstructure such that 5% or less of a ferrite fraction is contained in the alloy. A manufacturing method of a continuous casting guide roll using centrifugal casting method comprises the steps of: (a) preparing molten iron having a composition comprising 11 to 12 wt.% of Cr, 0.12 to 0.15 wt.% of C, 2 to 3 wt.% of Ni, 1 to 1.5 wt.% of Mo, 0.5 to 1 wt.% of Mn, 0.2 to 0.81 wt.% of Si, 0.4 to 0.6 wt.% of Cu, 0.4 to 0.5 wt.% of W, 0.2 to 0.4 wt.% of V, 0.2 to 0.3 wt.% of Nb, 0.05 to 0.2 wt.% of N, and the balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities; (b) injecting the prepared molten iron into a mold of a centrifugal casting machine; (c) rotating the mold until the molten iron is solidified; (d) separating a casting from the mold; and (e) air cooling the casting. The manufacturing method further comprises a step(f) of preheating the mold to a temperature range of 400 to 450 deg.C prior to the step(b). The manufacturing method further comprises a step(g) of heat-treating the casting after performing the step(e).
