METHOD FOR CORROSION PREVENTION OF WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS BY LIME SLURRY

A corrosion prevention method of a water supply pipe using lime slurry is provided to prevent the corrosion of an internal wall of a water supply pipe by controlling the quantity of carbonated water and limewater quantitatively, thereby forming a calcium carbonate film on an internal wall of a water supply pipe. A corrosion prevention method of a water supply pipe using lime slurry comprises the steps of conveying water with cohered and deposited solid impurities in a settling basin(1) to a filter basin(2), injecting carbon dioxide to the water passing through the filter basin to control water PH properly while conveying the water from the filter basin to a clean water reservoir, and inputting lime to lime slurry dissolved in the water, and then sending out to a water pipe, wherein a carbon dioxide dissolving and supply device(4) is installed to the side of the filter basin to input carbonated water with dissolved quantitative carbon dioxide to filtered water without discharge of carbon dioxide to the air, thereby to control water PH.
