A wire rod automatic position controlling rolling mill is provided to improve the wire-rod quality and to reduce replace time by forming guide units separated from a horizontal rolling mill, at an outer part of a body. A wire rod automatic position controlling mill comprises a horizontal rolling mill, a detector(1), and a moving control system. The horizontal rolling mill has a body(100a), a plurality of planar rolls(110), an inlet guide(120), an outlet guide, and fixed stands(180,181). The planar rolls are installed at the body. The inlet guide and the outlet guide wherein a rolling mill material is guided, are fixed to an outer part of the body. The fixed stand which is fixed at the outer part of the body, fixes the inlet guide and the outlet guide. The detector is installed at one part of the horizontal rolling mill, and detects the state when the rolling mill is passing through. The moving control system helps the horizontal rolling mill to move to a wire-rod rolling mill pass line while progressing a thermal wire-rod rolling. The moving control system is installed at one part of the body, and has a shifting cylinder moving the planar rolls.
