PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position specifying apparatus capable of accurately specifying a position of a specific object to be detected. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a first communicating means which is disposed at the object to be sensed, a presence sensing system 1 which senses the object to be sensed by using a communication between the first communicating means and a second communicating means, an image sensing system 2 which specifies image coordinates (Xm, Ym) on an image of the object to be sensed being specified on the image, and an information processing system 3 for processing information output from the presence sensing system 1 and the image sensing system 2. When receiving at least one of an identifying signal and a set of positional coordinates (Xr, Yr) from the presence sensing system 1, the information processing system 3 calculates calculation coordinates (X, Y) by converting the image coordinates (Xm, Ym) into coordinates of the presence sensing system 1, and determines it as the positional coordinates of the object to be sensed.
