<p>The invention relates to discount and prize distribution method and to a system for carrying out said method. The aim of said invention is to increase the interest of clients in buying at points of sale and in using services where they are provided by using the inventive system and method. The clients are attracted by that, while paying a good or service, a client could receive, with a certain probability, a product discount or a prize. For this purpose, the inventive system combines a price fixing means with means for generating a lottery sample in such a way that, while paying a good, a random sampling of elements is carried out and, when said sample coincides with a predetermined sample, the client takes the opportunity of discount. The probability of the occurrence of the predetermined combination can be modified in a manner which is external with respect to the system and according to different conditions by activating an input incorporated into the means for generating a lottery sample.</p> |
