The device has a retaining clamping device (21) bending and forming a conductor end part through the movement of the end part in a proximity of a coil end along a bent. The bent is centered around a part of the conductor end part, and has a radius, which is equal to the pre-determined distance. A retaining clamping device lifting part (23) moves the retaining clamping device to hold an area of the selected conductor part. A main drive part (27) moves the retaining clamping device in the proximity of the coil end along the bent. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming dynamo-electric winding end parts.
