<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which is enhanced in durability of a face portion by using the intensity anisotropy of a unidirectional rolled material. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 has the face portion 3 for hitting a ball, and at least part of the face portion 3 is made of the unidirectional rolled material M containing a titanium alloy having anαphase and rolled only in one direction.
