PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal backup device fitted to a machine which is unmanned or for which there is an operator who turns on and off the power source, and having a data logging function, the mobile terminal backup device equipped with functions of quickly and surely transmitting data logged in a radio transmission disabled area (outside a Dopa zone) and confirming that the mobile terminal backup device is turned off by a person. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal backup device is characterized in having a means of confirming that an operation switch of the mobile terminal backup device is turned off by a person after being turned on and a means of enabling the person to turn off the power source of the mobile terminal backup device by itself after the operation switch of the mobile terminal backup device is turned off.
