The housing construction (1) for a screen arrangement is build into a facade aperture (6) of a building connected to a window frame (2). It comprises a housing (16) with an upper wall (7) for connection to the uppermost limit (4) of the facade aperture, a lower wall (8) which connects to the windowframe, end walls (17) located at opposite ends of the upper wall and lower wall, a roller (11) suspended in the housing, together with a screen (13) fixed to the roller on to which it can be rolled or from which it can be unrolled. At least one coupling (18) is provided which is located at a distance between two end walls and which extends between the upper and lower walls for transmission of loads between the window frame and the facade (5). Each coupling releasably works in conjunction with the upper wall and lower wall of the housing.
