PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorption member made of ceramics which has an excellent sound absorption effect especially for sound of a frequency band which is felt to be loud sound by a human body, and in which workability at a site is excellent with good user friendliness. SOLUTION: A sound absorption composite material is composed of two or more ceramic substrates 1 in which porous ceramics member M is fabricated in a plate shape, a spacer member 2, and an attaching means 3 capable of attaching both members. A technical means for united constitution is adopted that the ceramic substrates 1 are laminated and held in parallel with a predetermined interval, by pinching the spacer member 2 between the ceramic substrates 1, and by sticking both members by the sticking means 3.
