PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a display panel that enhances the response speed of liquid crystal and improves picture quality by correcting image data independently by sub pixels. SOLUTION: In the driving device for the display panel, a memory sequentially stores image data in frame units. A memory controller while storing present image data corresponding to a present frame in the memory reads out image data corresponding to a just before frame from the memory, and outputs the just before image data and the present image data. A first converter converts the present image data output from the memory controller into a pair of first sub image data and second sub image data. A second converter converts the just before image data output from the memory controller into a pair of third sub image data and fourth sub image data. A first compensator compensates the first sub image data using the third sub image data. A second compensator compensates the second sub image data using the fourth sub image data.
