PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a crushing unit freely attachable/detachable in a hammer mill type disposer apparatus. SOLUTION: The crushing unit 50 is housed in a hopper 20. In the hammer mill type disposer apparatus, the crushing unit 50 is constituted of a turntable 52, a hammer 54 which is provided at an upper surface thereof and is freely oscillating and a crushing blade 58 which is fixed to the hopper. A pivotally supporting means 60 is installed at a top end part of a driving shaft 42. Engagement and release of an engagement ball 63 with/from an annular groove 62 is performed by moving a rock ring 66 forward and backward. The turntable 52 can be pulled out from the hopper 20 by removing the pivotally supporting means 60 from the driving shaft.
