PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of being easily assembled and improving its productivity as refrigerant flow channels and ventilation passages can be alternately formed respectively between heat transfer plates only by stacking a plurality of heat transfer plates, keeping the ventilation passage at a prescribed width and preventing deformation of the heat transfer plates by projecting portions for holding an interval, and dispensing with a corrugated fins and achieving miniaturization and space saving without impairing radiation performance. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 comprises a core portion 3 formed by stacking the plurality of heat transfer plates to alternately form the refrigerant flow channels and the ventilation passages respectively between the heat transfer plates, and an inflow-side tank portion 4 and an outflow-side tank portion 5 disposed at both end portions of the core portion 3 while communicating with each of the refrigerant flow channels, and each of the heat transfer plates has one or the plurality of projecting portions projecting to a ventilation passage side and kept into contact with the adjacent other heat transfer plate.
