PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyacetal copolymer having excellent productivity and excellent balance of rigidity, strength and heat stability. SOLUTION: The method for producing a polyacetal copolymer comprises copolymerizing 100 mol of trioxane with≥0.001 and≤30 mol of (A) at least one kind selected from a cyclic ether except trioxane and a cyclic formal with≥0.001 and≤10 mol of (B-1) a compound represented by formula R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>C=CR<SP>3</SP>R<SP>4</SP>and/or (B-2) a conjugated diene compound represented by formula R<SP>5</SP>R<SP>6</SP>C=CR<SP>7</SP>-CR<SP>8</SP>=CR<SP>9</SP>R<SP>10</SP>(R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>are each at least one kind selected from hydrogen, a halogen group, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group and an aromatic hydrocarbon group and do not contain a formal group) in the presence of (C) a cationic polymerization catalyst.
