The invention relates to the shipbuilding, namely to the heat exchangers for power plant of sea technical equipment. An immersion heat exchanger contains heat-removing elements located in the outboard water and connected with the collectors of supply and removal of cooled fluid. Moreover, the heat-removing elements are installed relative to each other with a clearance, and the branch pipe of supply of compressed gas is located near them. In accordance with the invention, in the lower part of heat exchanger, along the clearances formed by heat-removing elements, perforated gas collectors connected with branch pipe for supply of compressed gas are located. In this case the gas collectors are placed in the middle part of the clearances formed by heat-removing elements. Furthermore, gas collectors are located below the lower edges of heat-removing elements at a distance h, and the distance between perforations of gas collector does not exceed the size of clearance. The invention ensures the intensification of heat exchange between heat-removing elements and outboard water due to increase of the speed of displacement of outboard water in the clearances and due to the destruction of boundary layer on the heat exchange surface of elements.
