PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side shift device capable of eliminating a clearance becoming a cause of the rattling of the side shift device without exchanging a liner. SOLUTION: A through hole 24 having a thread is formed at a recess 16 of an upper carrier 9, an adjustment bolt 25 is screw-engaged with the through hole 24 from above and a projection 26 of a height adjustment plate 22 formed at the liner 8 is fitted to the bolt from below. Accordingly, even if a side shifter 2 is descended by the abrasion of the liner, the side shifter 2 can be pulled up relative to a lift bracket 1 by screwing the adjustment bolt 25, and a clearance between a lower finger bar 6 and a lower carrier 11 can be adjusted to the initial state without exchanging the liner 8.
