A cyclone dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner is provided to clean filth such as hair attached to a grill by installing a grill cleaning unit, lowering down when upsetting a cyclone body, to a discharge pipe. A cyclone dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner comprises a cover, a cyclone body, a grill, and a grill cleaning unit(140). The cover has a suction port rotating air. Combined to the cover, the cyclone body has a discharge pipe for discharging the sucked air. The grill is installed to the discharge pipe. The grill cleaning unit moves up and down in the discharge pipe to remove filth attached to the grill. The grill cleaning unit includes a grill body, a cleaning hole, a corn, and a lattice net. The grill body is combined to the discharge pipe. The cleaning hole is formed at the center of the grill body. The corn is protruded upwardly from the cleaning hole. The lattice net is formed within an open surface of the grill body except the cleaning hole. The grill cleaning unit comprises a cleaner body(141), a weight(142), and filth removal bosses(143). The cleaner body has a space therein. The weight is combined to the space. The filth removal boss extends from the cleaner body upwardly.
