PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely adjust the friction against hair even in the middle of brushing from a part near the root of hair to the tip end by free use between resin bristles and animal bristles. SOLUTION: A hair dryer includes a cylindrical housing; and a fan and a heater for discharging warm air from the discharge port of the cylindrical housing. One side surface is defined as a planting surface, where the brush bristles are planted by forming strings in the axial direction of the cylindrical housing with the axial line of the cylindrical housing as a boundary, and the other side surface is defined as a non-planting surface. Only the resin bristles are planted in the most outer side string closest to the non-planting surface concerning the planting surface.
