<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the color rendering properties as compared with the mixture of two colors by mixing the lights from light-emitting diodes of three colors, and to change chromaticity only by a simple adjustment as in the case of mixing two colors. <P>SOLUTION: Three types of light-emitting diodes 2a, 2b, 2c having a luminescent color in a visible light region are arranged so that the colors of the diodes are mixed. The color of the mixed color of the light-emitting diodes 2b, 2c is set so that it is complementary to the luminescent color of the light-emitting diode 2a. A light color limitation section 6 limits the ratio of the light output of the light-emitting diodes 2b, 2c so that the mixed color light of the light-emitting diodes 2b, 2c becomes complementary to the luminescent color of the light-emitting diode 2a. A color tone operation part 7 outputs a voltage signal so that chromaticity indicated by a chromaticity setting apparatus 8a and brightness indicated by a brightness setting apparatus 8b are met, and determines the light output of respective light-emitting diodes 2a, 2b, 2c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
