<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a man-machine interface which is close to the real world and is excellently intuitive, and enhances visibility of operation object without impairing the viewability of a screen and tireless operability. <P>SOLUTION: A method for displaying an object comprises a step which displays a tool object on an operation object displaying screen on a stereoscopic display unit, and displays a data object on a data object displaying screen on the stereoscopic display unit; a step which accepts instructions for operation for a data object by the tool object on the operation object displaying screen; and a step which, if the description of the received instructions for operation indicates execution of focusing on the data object, displays the data object on a displaying screen in front of the data object displaying screen, and if the description of the received instructions for operation indicates release of focusing on the data object, displays the data object on the data object displaying screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
