FIELD: magnetic or electrostatic separation. ^ SUBSTANCE: magnetic separator comprises magnetizing system composed of magnetizing units and members of magnetic circuit arranged in series. The members have joining bases and pole tips-projections. The fluid to be cleaned flows around the tips-projections. The magnetizing units of the separator abut against each of non-peripheral members of the magnetic circuit on both sides to define a chain of magnetic circuits of alternating direction. Each of the magnetic circuit member is provided with at least two projections set in the fluid flow.
