PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the rigidity of a rear quarter pillar and that of a window shoulder of a rear quarter window while making them compatible with each other without causing an increase in the size of the rear quarter pillar and an increase or the like in the number of components. SOLUTION: The front end of a quarter panel inner center 22 is joined to the rear wall face 21a of a quarter panel inner front 21. An extension part 28b extending upwardly along a C pillar 13 is integrally formed at the upper part of a reinforcement body 28a of a reinforcement wheel apron 28. A closed cross-section is formed between the extension part 28b and the quarter panel inner front 21. On that occasion, a ridge line 28r formed by bending the rear wall face 28c of the extension part 28b is set so as to vertically extend along a ridge line 21r formed by bending the rear wall face 21a of the quarter panel inner front. A branch part 28d corresponding to the quarter panel inner center 22 is formed on the rear wall face 28c of the extension part 28b.
