PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor using polarization junctions of semiconductors formed by both positive and negative fixed charges by polarization. SOLUTION: The capacitor has a laminate structure 14 wherein two or more kinds of semiconductors are laminated by three or more layers so as to form hetero-junction of two or more semiconductors, and has polarization junctions so as to simultaneously generate a first conductivity-type carrier and a second conductivity-type carrier by the positive and negative fixed charges generated by polarization on the interface of the hetero-junction. The capacitor is provided with a first electrode 12 having ohmic property to the first conductivity-type carrier at one side edge of the laminate structure and a second electrode 13 having the ohmic property to a second conductivity-type carrier at the other side edge.
