PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch cover assembly having a higher degree of freedom in design and lower manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The clutch cover assembly 1 is provided for pressing a friction member 53 of a clutch disc assembly 52 to a flywheel 51 of an engine or for releasing it, and comprises a clutch cover 2, a pressure plate 3, a diaphragm spring 4, a first cone spring 36 and a second cone spring 37, and a spacer 46. The first cone spring 36 and the second cone spring 37 are supported by the clutch cover 2 for generating load against the energizing force of the diaphragm spring 4. The spacer 46 is mounted on the clutch cover 2 so that it can abut on the first cone spring 36 and the second cone spring 37 in the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
