<p>Transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs) and their effects are treated, and their incidence is reduced, by administering to a human patient at risk of or who has already suffered a TIA, an effective amount of phosphate-glycerol group carrying bodies, such as phosphatidylglycerol liposomes, of a size resembling that of mammalian blood cells.</p> |
