PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear having no strength degradation and reduced in machining cost, without the need for machining work such as cutting work to remove burrs produced by conventional hobbing work. SOLUTION: In ridge portions of crossings between each of a tooth bottom face 11, a tooth face 12 and an addendum face 13 of the forged and molded gear 1, and an axial end face 14 of the gear, forged and molded rounding chamfering portions 111, 121, 131 are formed.
