<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive FAX via the Internet and to add a FAX output function to general printers utilized for a computer system within an enterprise. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a system comprising a service site device connected to a public telephone line network and the Internet and a server device connected to an intra-enterprise network, wherein the service site device comprises a means for receiving FAX data via the public telephone line network, a temporary folder for converting received FAX data into an image file and storing it, and a means for acquiring an image file to be transmitted to the server device and transmitting it to the server device upon a file request, and the server device comprises a means for issuing a file request to the service site device at fixed time intervals and a means for receiving an image file transmitted from the service site device, transmitting it to a printer and executing printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
