<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting capable of surely attaching to a conductor of a flat circuit for suppressing cost hike, and an attaching method. <P>SOLUTION: An FFC2 includes a band conductor 4 and a coating part 5 coating the conductor 4, the conductor 4 is arranged on a bottom wall 12 pinched between a pair of a conductor caulking pieces 13 of the terminal fitting 6, the FFC2 is crimped to the terminal fitting 6 by caulking the pair of caulking pieces 13.
