A packing apparatus for a display module is provided to restrain a partial damage of the display module by reducing a contact area between the display module and a slot of the packing apparatus itself using a contact area reducing portion. A packing apparatus for a display module includes a container body, at least one slot, and a contact area reducing portion. The container body is used for storing a display module. The slot(34) is installed on an inner surface of the container body in order to slide an end portion of the display module. The contact area reducing portion is formed on the slot or the display module in order to minimize the contact area between the slot and the end portion of the display module. A tilted plane(34a) is used as the contact area reducing portion.
