摘要 An apparatus of controlling a motor for driving an electric forklift truck is provided to prevent the truck from being stopped by sudden disorder of a speed sensor. An apparatus of controlling a motor for driving an electric forklift truck includes a diagnosing unit(308), a phase voltage generating unit(300), and a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) inverter(306). The diagnosing unit(308) checks whether abnormality is generated at a speed sensor sensing a speed of the motor. The phase voltage generating unit(300) generates a phase voltage command value to provide the motor with a predetermined pore magnetic flux according to a power frequency command value if the diagnosing unit(308) detects the abnormality of the speed sensor. The PWM inverter(306) generates a plurality of winding currents to supply the predetermined pore magnetic flux to the motor according to the power frequency command value and the phase voltage command value generated at the phase voltage generating unit(300).
