<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display which is equipped with: a substrate for a light source, on which LED elements of three primary colors of red (R), green (G), and blue (B) are properly arrayed as light sources per pixel; and liquid crystal cells arranged on at least one side of the substrate for the light source, the LED display in which a problem of a conventional LED display is resolved by controlling light emission of each pixel by liquid crystal cells with the light sources on. <P>SOLUTION: The LED display is provided with: the substrate for the light source, on which LED elements of three primary colors of red (R), green (G), and blue (B) are properly arrayed as the light sources per pixel; and liquid crystal cells arranged on at least one side of the substrate for the light source, and light emission of each pixel is controlled by liquid crystal cells with the light sources on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
